Getting to Mahibadhoo Island

By Public Speedboat **Recommended option**

• There are public passenger speedboats traveling between Male and our island, Mahibadhoo daily.
• The ride is about 60-80min and the ticket cost is US$45 per person per way. 
• We need to help you reserve the seats and add the speedboat ticket costs to your bill with us. We will send u the speedboat info 2-3 days before your arrival date.  
• The public speedboat usually departs from Jetty Number 1 or 6 in Male. From airport, the ride to the jetty is around 10 minutes. Alternatively, we can also arrange airport jetty pick up if required.
  
• Once you are at the jetty, look for speedboat name we will provide you. If you can't find it, do ask any boat crew around the jetty for help.

By Private Speedboat
The most convenient way is to book a speedboat for private transfer, which will take you direct to our island in around 60min. Private speedboat can be arranged during daylight 7 days a week, subject to weather conditions. The cost is around US$700-800 per boat per way (final cost depends on the petrol prices) with max. 15 person per boat.

By MTCC Ferry 

• The most economic way to get from Male-Mahibadhoo is by MTCC ferry.
• The ride is about 4h 30min. The ferry ticket cost is Maldivian Rufiyaa 54 (around US$5) per person per way.
• The ticket can be purchased at the ferry counter directly. 
• The ferry departs from Henveyru Terminal (previously known as Hulhumale Ferry Terminal). From airport, please take a taxi to go directly to the terminal. Once you are at the terminal, proceed to purchase the ferry ticket at the counter for Mahibadhoo and they will show you which ferry to board.

Male - Mahibadhoo: 8.30am, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday
​Mahibadhoo - Male: 1.00pm, Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday

**While planning your trip,  we recommend you have minimum 2.5 hour time allowance upon arrival in Maldives to clear immigration and luggage prior to the public speedboat or MTCC Ferry departure time. 

**Once you booked your flights, it is important to email us your flight details to ensure your boat transfer to Mahibadhoo is in good order.
